• Easy installation into existing or new buildings
  
• Does not require backing plates or reinforced concrete walls, can be placed in a typical-framed wood shaftway

• Designed to fit within standard 96” ceiling height at top floor eliminating the requirement for machine room or additional overhead clearance
  

Installation:

• CRYSTAL™ can be placed directly onto an existing concrete slab and requires only a 3” depression for flush access at bottom floor if desired
  
• CRYSTAL™ is modular and all components are design to fit through standard door openings so that it can be installed once other construction is complete
  
• No special lifting tools or machines are necessary as all components can be installed by hand

Doors:

• Fire-rated to 1 hour floor penetrations
• Mechanical or Electrical elevator certified interlocks prevent the doors from opening when carriage is not at the landing
• Automatic or manual operation
  

Available doors include:

• Manual bi-folding doors with ½ the swing of a conventional door for easy access and large glass panels for improved visibility
• Standard swing doors for higher fire rating requirements
• Automatic sliding doors similar to typical passenger elevators
• Carriage Light curtain  which uses sensors to detect motion outside of carriage envelope and stops the carriage automatically if breached
• Carriage aluminum folding gate with automatic opener
