Drive System
RAM CRYSTAL™
Traction Sheave Drive is
quieter, cleaner and more efficient. By utilizing a fully
counter-balanced design and high-efficiency components, CRYSTAL™ outperforms other commercial elevators
which use hydraulics, winding-drum or geared-chain drives. By design,
hydraulic cylinders leak a small amount of oil with each stroke,
resulting in unpleasant fumes permeating through your home.
Winding-drum and geared-chain drives are prone to noisy, inefficient
operation and require more maintenance. |
Easier to Install and Maintain
CRYSTAL™ is the easiest elevator to install. All
components fit through a standard door opening so that the elevator can
be installed once construction is complete. Unlike other elevators, CRYSTAL™ does not require special wall
reinforcement, lowering the overall project cost. Maintenance made
simple: the electrical panel and all controls can be accessed easily
right from the cab and the guide system rollers are self-lubricating.
